Academic ensemble of young musicians from the city on the Neva
The Nevsky Winds is an ensemble formed from graduates of the St. Petersburg Conservatory and soloists of the city's leading orchestras. The ensemble was founded in 2024 and immediately set itself an ambitious goal to represent Russia at the prestigious ARD international music competition in Munich (Germany).
In September 2024, the Nevsky Winds became prizewinner of the ARD competition, winning the III prize and receiving positive reviews from music critics and the German press. In the entire history of the competition, starting in 1952, quintets from Russia have only twice previously been awarded at this event — in 1966 and 2001. It is noteworthy that both times these were quintets from St. Petersburg (Leningrad).
The Nevsky Winds is proud to continue the traditions of the St. Petersburg Performing School and, given such a successful start to their career, they are optimistic about the future.

Radzevich Georgy Alexandrovich
Born in 1994 in St. Petersburg. In 2012, he graduated from the St. Petersburg State Music School at the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg Conservatory (taught by Yuri Radzevich). In 2018, he graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory and completed an assistant internship (class of the Honored Artist of Russia, Professor Kirill Sokolov). Since 2013, he has been a soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theater Orchestra.

2011 – winner of the XVI Togliatti International Competition of musicians performing on wind and percussion instruments.
2011 – winner of the V Pskov Open International Competition.
2013 – winner of the II prize of the IX International Competition named after Mravinsky (St. Petersburg).

Lev Zhuravsky
Lev was born in 2000, St. Petersburg in family of musicians. Graduate of the Secondary Special Music School at the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Grigory Maliyov). Since 2019 until 2026 - the principal clarinet of Mikhailovsky theatre of opera and ballet. In 2023 finished the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Associate Professor Grigory Maliev). In 2025 finished an assistant internship (class of the same teacher). Since 2025, he has been a student at the Musik-Akademie Basel (class of François Benda).

Anna Komarova
Anna was born in Abakan in 1995. In 2010 she enrolled at Specialised Secondary School of Music of the St Petersburg State Conservatoire (class Honoured Worker of Russia Irina Pimenova). Shi is graduate of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov (class of Honored Artist of Russia, soloist of the Mariinsky Theater, associate professor Valentin Cherenkov). She studied as an assistant-internship at the Moscow State Conservatory. P.I. Tchaikovsky.

Alexander Bykov
Born in Leningrad (now St.Petersburg) Graduated from the St. Petersburg State Conservatoire named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov (oboe class of A. Isaev), continued his education in the Conservatoire as an assistant of prof. A. Kazakov. Since 2019 he has been a student at Hochschule Lucerne (class of prof. I. Podyomov).
Alexander took part in master classes of prominent oboe players- M. Burg, D. Walter, F.Leleux , T. Indermülle, G. Witt, L. Hadadi, A. Klein, G. Hunt and others.
In September 2024, he was awarded the 3rd prize at the ARD International Classical Music Competition in Munich (Germany) as a member of Nevsky Winds.
He conducts active concert activities in Russia and abroad. As a soloist he performed in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Spain and other European countries.
He performed a number of premieres of works for oboe, including the Oboe Concerto by D. Anzarokov on the stage of the Berlin Konzerthaus in 2018. As a soloist in orchestras and ensembles he has performed at such venues as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Vienna Musikverein, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Elb and Paris Philharmonic, the Konzerthaus (Berlin), the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonic named after D.D. Shostakovich, Great Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky and others.
Since 2013, he has been a soloist of the Symphony Orchestra of the State Academic Chapel of St. Petersburg (chief conductor - A. Chernushenko). Since 2022 - soloist of the musicAeterna orchestra conducted by T. Currentzis.
Alexander performs regulary as a standing guest musician in many orchestras, including the Camerata of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (Amsterdam), St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Rachmaninoff International orchestra and others.

Georgy Pribylov
Georgiy Pribylov was born into a musical family in Minsk. In 2015, he participated in the International Summer Academy of Ensemble and Orchestral Culture in Murren (Switzerland). In 2017, he graduated from the spesial school at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. In 2022, he graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State University under the specialty program, and in 2025 under the internship program (class of Igor Karzov). He participated in master classes of world-class French horn players, including Dmitry Vorontsov, soloist of the Mariinsky Theater, Associate Prof., Head of the Department of Brass and Percussion Instruments at St. Petersburg State University; Jörg Brückner, soloist of the Munich Philharmonic, prof. at the Liszt Graduate School of Music; Engelberdt Schmidt, former soloist of the Munich Radio Orchestra, horn producer; Philip F. Myers, former soloist of the New York Philharmonic, Prof. at the Fribourg Conservatory; soloist of the French Radio Symphony Orchestra in Paris, Herve Joulain.

These include the 10th and 12th International Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory Competition for Wind and Percussion Instruments, as well as the 73rd ARD International Music Competition. From 2017 to 2020, he played the 1st and 3rd French horns of the St. Petersburg State Academic Symphony Orchestra. Since 2020, he has been an artist of the Honored Collective of Russia of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic named after D.D. Shostakovich.
